I go to church and talk to God

I ask for forgiveness

and thank Him for all that I have

I ask Him to teach me how to love myself

My knees are cut from kneeling

I say sorry

I say thank you

I say please

God says nothing

He doesn’t have too

I know He can hear me

He might be the only one
